Dinner sales expanding at nursery schools and kindergartens
Kindergartens and daycare centers are increasingly selling dinner dishes and lunch boxes to parents. For parents, it's hard to pick up their children after work, shop and cook dinner. As a result, the park hopes to "support children to be able to raise their children in a relaxed manner," and such efforts are spreading.
For example, a lucky kindergarten in Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, offers "Otasuke Meal" every Tuesday and Thursday. They prepare a set of staple foods and side dishes such as "Spring Roll and Hijiki-ni" in the garden's cooking room. It is also said that they try to make a popular menu for children who need to make it at home.
I thought this kind of effort was very good for parents with small children. Although the birthrate is declining, I thought it would be good if there were more efforts to support parents with children like this.

I think it is very good for both parents and children. By reducing shopping and cooking time, the burden of parents will be lightened and parents will b able to spend more time with their children.
返信削除That's such a long-awaited action! I hope to see more initiatives like this. From an economic perspective, I think it's about the outsourcing and marketization of childcare. What are the pros and cons of this? Now I'm curious.
返信削除I thought this was a very good way to support parents, and I hope that this system will become established nationwide, just like school lunches.
