29 people, including children, die of hunger in Gaza

Palestinian Health Minister Majid Abu Ramadan said on the 22nd that 29 children and elderly people have died in connection with hunger in Gaza in the past few days and thousands are at risk.

Food aid to Gaza is expected to begin on the 22nd, but Palestinian authorities and aid officials say this is only a small part of the requirement.

The International Hunger Monitoring Organization also announced this month that 500,000 people are facing starvation in Gaza.

When I saw this article, I knew for the first time that half a million people were facing starvation.
